Campfire Orange Cake
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Oranges
-Cake Mix (any flavor works, we recommend white or chocolate)
- Eggs, oil, water (follow the cake mix instructions)
- Aluminum Foil
- Knife
- Spoons
- Tongs

DIRECTIONS:
- Make a fire and allow coals to start forming (the coals will cook the oranges)
- Make the cake batter using the instructions on the box
- Cut the top of the oranges off, about 3/4 of an inch
- Scoop out the middle of the orange and set aside. The orange insides can be eaten as a snack if you'd like. Pro Tip: Leave some of the orange juices in to make the cake moist!
- Fill the hollow oranges 2/3 of the way with mixed cake batter
- Put the tops back on the oranges
- Completely wrap the orange with the top on in foil
- Carefully place the oranges in the fire, on or near the coals to ensure the batter cooks all the way through
- Cook until the batter is completely done. Ours took about 14 minutes. Use the tongs to rotate as needed
- Once the timer goes off, use the tongs to take oranges out of the fire
- Let the oranges cool for a few minutes
- Eat and enjoy!
